  • Applies to retail and Hot Rate hotel, car, and flight bookings on Hotwire.com
  • Does not apply to cruises, vacations, or other services
  • For hotel and car bookings, will pay you the difference if you find a lower nightly/daily rate on an identical booking from another source within 48 hours of your Hotwire booking
  • For Hotwire Hot Rate hotel and car bookings, the refund will be equal to the difference between your Hotwire nightly/daily rate and the lower nightly/daily rate for the total days of your booking
  • For standard/retail hotel and car bookings, the refund will also be equal to the difference between your Hotwire nightly/daily rate and the lower nightly/daily rate for the total days of your booking
  • Hotwire will verify that the Hotwire reservation in question has been completed without cancellation or refund for the date of the claimed booking
  • In the event Hotwire is not able to obtain from the travel supplier a breakdown of the nightly/daily rate, you may need to fax a copy of your bill to Hotwire.
  • Only pertains to the hotel or car rate exclusive of tax recovery charges and fees. When factoring in tax recovery charges and fees, no guarantee that the total amount you pay Hotwire will be lower than the total amount you might pay elsewhere
  • For flight bookings, will pay you the difference if you find a lower total booking price on an identical booking from another source within 48 hours of your Hotwire booking
  • The refund for flight bookings will be equal to the difference between your Hotwire total booking price, including associated taxes and fees, and the lower total booking price
  • Rates must be available to the general public
  • After you submit your request, you will know the outcome within 5-7 business days. If Hotwire can confirm the availability of the lower rate, your request will be approved, and Hotwire will issue you a refund in an amount equal to the difference between your booking’s Hotwire rate and the other lower rate, per the guidelines of each specific product
  • If Hotwire cannot validate the lower rate, your request will be denied
  • If a refund is issued, your original reservation will not be cancelled
  • If Hotwire has a credit card on file for you and has issued charges against it, all refunds will be made within 10 business days after Hotwire confirms the availability of the lower rate. A credit will be issued to the card used for the Hotwire booking, and those credits will be issued in the currency in which the original booking was made. For transactions where Hotwire did not charge your credit card (for example, standard/retail car rental reservation service), expect either a refund on your card or a refund check to be issued within 14 days of Hotwire receiving the validated proof of eligible, completed Hotwire reservations. You may be required to provide additional information in order to be eligible to receive a check, such as mailing address
  • All refund checks will be made in U.S. Dollars. You may choose to receive Hotwire HotDollars in lieu of a refund, but must do so by calling 1-866-HOTWIRE (1-866-468-9473) and meeting the Low Price Guarantee qualification criteria
  • In order to verify the other rate’s availability, Hotwire may request additional information from you including, without limitation, the URL address reflecting the lower price or the name of the travel representative that quoted the lower rate, and/or your address or contact information in order to confirm the availability of a refund
  • The Low Price Guarantee applies only to non-qualified rates available to the general public for identical bookings
  • Hotwire shall make the final determination regarding your refund eligibility and the availability of a lower rate
  • In no event shall you receive refunds under the Low Price Guarantee in excess of $1,000 per calendar year
  • Only one submission per itinerary will be accepted
  • Hotwire shall not be liable for the payment of any refunds under the Low Price Guarantee with respect to rates loaded in error by Hotwire or any vendor or any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials relating to the Low Price Guarantee
  • In the event of any dispute regarding the Low Price Guarantee, the decisions of Hotwire shall be final and binding on all parties

Exclusions

  • Rates found on Hotwire.com are not eligible
  • The Low Price Guarantee does not apply to membership, loyalty or points programs, corporate rates or special discounted rates including AAA, AARP, employee, military, government or convention rates. The Low Price Guarantee also does not apply to rates made available on Hotwire after your booking. Employees (including their families and persons residing in the same household) of Hotwire hotel partners are not eligible. Previously cancelled or refunded bookings/itineraries are also not eligible
